Upper Deck is a baseball & softball academy that offers instruction in all phases of the game. Our system of teaching includes the physical, mechanical and mental approaches to successful competition. We emphasize practice and drills and focus on preparation for each aspect of the game.
If you are serious about baseball, whether it is Little League or the Big Leagues and you are willing to dedicate the time and effort, our programs and philosophy represent the ultimate baseball experience.

Our 8,900 sq ft Cumberland facility has the best lighting & equipment in the area. Video Swing Analysis is available so you learn to take quality, accurate reps. We are also RI’s only ProBatter facility! It’s as close to being in the batters box as you can get.
You'll also discover four indoor batting cages equipped with two Iron Mike pitching machines and two Jugs pitching machines along with four automatic soft toss stations, four tee stations and a large multi use area with two portable pitching mounds.

At Upper Deck 2 in Johnston, you'll find 6,300 sq ft to house three Iron Mike machines, 1 JUGS, two Softball JUGS and Wheeler Dealer Soft Toss machines.

American Legion Tryouts
UPPER DECK BASEBALL ACADEMY is affiliated with AMERICAN LEGION POST 86
We are currently franchised with 1 Senior Team (ages 15 19)
And
1 Junior Team (ages 14 17)
Cumberland High School is our base school, therefore all players from Cumberland High School are required to tryout with our Upper Deck/Post 86 Team.
Any player whos parent or guardians domicile is closest to Cumberland High School and does not attend CHS has an option of playing for our Upper Deck/Post 86 Team or playing for the Team from their school (if there is one)
Any player who lives in a community that does NOT offer American Legion Baseball must abide by the closest base school rule to their domicile
The season runs from June through the first few weeks of August
Tryouts will be held May 17th at Tucker Field in Cumberland beginning at 9:00AM
